On June 17, 2017, the Chesapeake Conservancy joined the National Park Service and numerous other partners to formally transfer ownership of a one-acre property to the Rappahannock Tribe. The parcel, purchased by Virginia Warner, daughter of former U.S. Sen. John Warner, is part of the tribe's ancestral lands along the Rappahannock River.

Trips and Tips

Each week the Chesapeake Conservancy and the National Park Service Chesapeake Bay highlight interesting, unusual and off-the-beaten path events taking place in the Chesapeake Bay watershed with the weekly newsletter, Trips and Tips. I was responsible for filming and editing weekly videos with host Megan McSwain to share on social media and increase subscribers.
