My Work

Every day I am inspired by my incredible surroundings. Whether it is a dazzlingly purple sunset on the Chesapeake Bay, ethereal fog making the ghost fleet at Mallows Bay appear supernatural, or the dedicated people I have the pleasure to call my colleagues and peers, I am fortunate to have seen so much beauty and be able to show it through my writing, photography, and graphic design.

My Writing

I take tremendous pride in my ability to tell a story. Through my writing, I aim to put my reader in the scene and not only see what I see, but understand the way in which I see it.

Editing

In August of 2018 I started my dream job editing Fisheries Magazine for the American Fisheries Society. As the managing editor, I am responsible for making sure the magazine gets out on time and looks great.

My Photography

I have visited some of the most beautiful places in the world. I have seen many amazing things and luckily most of the time I had my camera along for the ride.

Videography

In 2017 the Chesapeake Conservancy decided to increase the organization's social media reach through videos for fundraising campaigns, awareness of projects such as the effort to protect Fones Cliffs, and weekly events through Trips and Tips. Collaborative Work

During my time with the Chesapeake Conservancy I collaborated with program and development staff to create the organization's newsletter, Shorelines, annual reports, and other programmatic materials.
