I contributed to Find Your Chesapeake from 2016 until 2018, writing travelogues and conducting interviews with a who's who of members of the conservation community.

During my time at the Chesapeake Conservancy I collaborated with President and CEO Joel Dunn to put together his columns for Bay Journeys, a quarterly publication that inspired readers to experience the natural, cultural, and historical beauty of the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

Starting in 2011, The Ligonier Echo gave me my start writing professionally. I wrote news, features, sports, asked local residents the question of the week, and took photos for the voice of the Ligonier Valley until 2016.
